Solar Opposites I Series I Hulu

Image from Amazon.com

While I'm not seriously watching anything too specific this month, Solar Opposites has caught my eye. I usually play this show in the background of my living room while cooking, crocheting, or just hanging out after work, and the show has grown on me over time.

The show, created by Justin Roiland and Mike McMahan, follows an alien family of Shlorpians who crash landed on Earth after the destruction of their home planet. Terry, Korvo, Jesse, and Yumyulack find themselves in obscure Earth situations everyday as they try and raise their assigned Pupa who is supposed to eventually terraform the Earth. We also get a nice B-story of The Wall, a terrarium in Yumyulack's wall where he puts human beings he shrunk with a shrink ray.

Solar Opposites has become a favorite of mine, specifically with the characters Jesse and Yumyulack. I also appreciate the meta references to the show knowing it is on Hulu's platform (serves for some extra comedy).

Season 3 just came out this past July and a brand new holiday special is to debut in October of 2022 (Happy Halloween!).

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law I Series I Disney Plus

Image from Wired.com

She- Hulk: Attorney at Law is probably one of the most highly debated series currently releasing episodes this time of year, but don’t let that dissuade you from seriously watching this series! Presented by Marvel Studios on Disney Plus, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is about Jennifer Walters, also known as She-Hulk. The series navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered Hulk.

Say what you will about this series, but I seriously love how real Jennifer Walters feels as a working woman in America. I feel like I can relate to this character, unlike many other characters I see in pop culture. I’ve been watching this series every week with my stepmom as a kind of girls night for the two of us. We don’t always have the same taste in television, but we both love watching She Hulk together. I will cherish the memory of having to explain who Megan Thee Stallion is (iykyk).

If you want a series that doesn’t take itself way too seriously, and is a wonderful representation of the modern working woman, try this series out!

Harley Quinn I Series I HBO Max

Photo sourced from Deadline.com.

Having Harley Quinn to wait for the final episode of the season. This year has brought us a great arch within one of gothams favorite couples! I'm honestly worried though as we come to the end, usually television writers like to end a series off with a disruption in the normal world. I'm really hoping Harley and Ivy make it for season four. If they break up I'm going to be devistated.

Definitely a great watch with some of the best plots I've seen in an adult animated series!
