        From a very young age, K.J. Griffith always knew she wanted to be a creative. She grew up studying the arts in Ebensburg, Pennsylvania, a small town community full of musicians and artists. She discovered her passion for filmmaking at the age of 10. Her background in music and audio lead her to the interest in pursuing film sound design as a career.

        Today, K.J. Griffith is a Post Production Specialist with a degree in Cinema Production from Point Park University. She currently works as a Freelance Sound Designer and editor. K.j.'s work has been featured in numerous film festivals, on WQED televison, and The Discovery Network. She enjoys bringing stories to life, and hopes to continue pursuing her lifelong dream turned reality.

Award presented by Appalachia IU8 for best technical Achievement in filmmaking for the Central Pennsylvania region.

Cinema Arts Thesis Scholarship

Winner- 2021

Tuition Credit Awarded by the Cinema Arts Faculty at Point Park University for students working on their thesis project.
